Question by none n: brushed silver or brushed nickel mirror? any interior design specialist , pls answer?
My guest bathroom is very small and very dark also and I want to bring some life into this small space. I bought a gorgeous mahogany cabinet and a brushed nickel faucet with goes perfect with the black marble top of the vanity. Now, it is time for a mirror. I am thinking about a wall mirror for the entire wall leaving only small spaces for each side for sconces and I am wondering what finish should be the mirror. I found on the internet some custom made mirrors but i have to choose the finish of the frame around them , should it be brushed nickel or brushed silver to add more light, and if brushed silver would it match the brushed nickel faucet or it does not matter. or both the mirror frame and the faucet should be the same finish. would the brush nickel frame make the room darker. Please if you have any interior design background answer me and tell me what to do to bring life to this small space and make it look bigger. and I guess if I have to make sconces in both sides of the mirror, they should math the mirror frame? pls help?

It is a design preference, however, in bathrooms (and particularly small ones) I do not like to mix metals. To me, it looks distracting and looks like you just bought stuff wherever without much thought (this is my design training however). If you had done chrome, then a silver mirror would have looked better. IMO, the two close but not exact finishes will be a bit discordant.

Q&A: Should a blacksmith be allowed to take a fruitdrink on a ferris wheel ?
Question by crystlmoody: Should a blacksmith be allowed to take a fruitdrink on a ferris wheel ?
A blacksmith is a person who creates objects from iron or steel by “forging” the metal; i.e., by using hand tools to hammer, bend, cut and otherwise shape it in its non-liquid form. Usually the metal is heated until it glows red or orange as part of the forging process. Blacksmiths create such products as wrought iron gates, grills, railings, light fixtures, furniture, sculpture, tools, decorative and religious items, cooking utensils and weapons. A skilled blacksmith can, with minimal effort, make a sophisticated product that looks good and demonstrates ingenuity.

The very fact that you’re asking that leads me to believe you’re not telling the whole story.
I don’t see any reason why a blacksmith should not be allowed to take a fruitdrink on a ferris wheel. But by asking you seem to be implying there is some reason why the blacksmith should not be allowed to do it. You don’t state any reason. That makes me think you’re leaving something out. What could happen if a blacksmith took a fruitdrink on a ferris wheel? That’s the mystery you leave left unsolved.
What do you think? Answer below!
